Mala Indian
Est. 1984

Founded in 1984 in London’s hidden gem, St Katharine Docks, Mala quickly became known for its warm hospitality and traditional Punjabi cuisine made with health in mind. After 35 memorable years by the marina, the restaurant moved in 2019 to the riverfront of Westferry Circus, Canary Wharf, offering diners authentic flavours alongside stunning views of the River Thames and London skyline.

In 2025, Mala began a new chapter in Abridge, Essex, now housed in a beautifully preserved 16th-century Tudor building with its original features. Today, Mala continues to celebrate Punjabi heritage through vibrant, wholesome dishes served in a setting rich with history and character.
